Terms of Service

1. About the service

DinJobs is an AI job-search assistant designed for people seeking employment in the United Kingdom. When you upload your CV and job preferences, the service:

• Searches public job listings and scores how well roles match your profile using AI.
• Displays up to 10 matched jobs in your active queue on the web dashboard (and optionally in Discord if you connect your Discord account).
• Generates tailored CVs, cover letters, and interview preparation notes at your request.
• Optionally connects to your Outlook / Microsoft mailbox (if you choose to link it) to read message metadata and classify employer replies such as interview invitations or rejections.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use DinJobs, and at least 18 to buy a paid plan.
• You sign in using Google or Discord OAuth; we do not issue or store passwords.
• Accounts are strictly for individual use: only one account per person is permitted.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google or Discord sign-in account secure and for all activity under your DinJobs account.

3. Free trial

• New users receive a free trial with no payment card required.
• Your free trial ends automatically once 10 matched jobs have been delivered to your queue or after 60 days from sign-up, whichever comes first.
• The free trial is limited to one trial per person. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a trial if we detect duplicate accounts created to bypass trial limits.

4. Paid subscription, pricing, and billing

• Launch price lock: Our paid plan is £30 per month (GBP) at our launch price (standard list price £50 per month). Your £30/month launch price is kept for as long as your subscription stays active and uninterrupted, even if new subscribers later pay the £50/month list price.
• No hidden fees or VAT: Danish Din is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the stated monthly price, and there are no hidden charges.
• Automatic monthly renewal: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• Cancellation at any time: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal in your dashboard. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current paid billing period, after which no further charges will be taken.
• Statutory cooling-off and refunds: Your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 is explained in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. AI output, fabrication guard, and your responsibilities

• No guarantee of interviews or job offers: DinJobs is a productivity and preparation tool, not a recruitment agency. We do not guarantee that using the service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment.
• Check every document before sending: AI models can make mistakes, misread context, or produce awkward phrasing. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing every tailored CV, cover letter, and application document before sending it to an employer.
• Fabrication guard: DinJobs includes a strict fabrication guard and will refuse to invent roles, employers, qualifications, or experience that are not supported by your CV and profile. You must not attempt to bypass this guard or ask the service to fabricate false credentials.

6. Acceptable use

When using DinJobs, you agree that you will not:

• Create multiple accounts to obtain extra free trials or circumvent account limits.
• Resell, sublicense, share, or commercially exploit access to DinJobs or its generated outputs as a service for others.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to extract data from or interact with DinJobs.
• Upload false, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful information, or upload another person's CV or personal data without their authority.
• Interfere with the security, stability, or normal operation of our servers or third-party integrations.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these acceptable use rules.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK consumer law.

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses, or for any missed job opportunities. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to DinJobs in any 12-month period is capped at the total subscription fees you have paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time, for example, to reflect new features or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will give you at least 14 days' notice by email or via an in-app notice before the changes take effect. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before they come into force.

9. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over any dispute (without affecting any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom).
